CITAE 2023 is a human-scale conference in higher education that took place on July 27th and 28th in person in Santiago (Chile), that was streamed to Ibero-American REDIIE members. During the event, a close and conducive atmosphere was fostered for the exchange of knowledge, ideas, and innovations in the field of higher education. Unlike large-scale conferences, CITAE 2023 aimed to provide a more personal and enriching experience for the attendees, allowing for greater interaction between participants and facilitators.
The topics covered in CITAE 2023 encompassed various aspects related to higher education, such as new teaching methodologies, educational technologies, academic research, curriculum development, inclusion, and equity, among others. Participants were encouraged to share their experiences, best practices, and challenges, with the goal of finding innovative and collaborative solutions to the educational issues facing the region.
The conference also stood out for its international collaboration focus, as it was streamed online to Ibero-American REDIIE members, enabling participants from different countries and cultures to connect, interact, and establish collaborative networks for learning and cooperation.
In summary, CITAE is an educational event characterized by its emphasis on human interaction, close engagement, and collaboration among higher education professionals, with the aim of driving significant improvements in the quality and effectiveness of learning and teaching in the Ibero-American region.
